Week 7-8:

As mentioned in previous chapter we started working on our layout. For us it was challenging task, becasue we had no eperience in that area as well as in schematics. After some hours we managed to navigate in layout quite confidently. We placed our componentes and found that there is auto routing possibility. We picked that option and added ground layer on the bottom. Our layout at that stage looks like this:

Week 9:

After showing results to our tutor he said that we need to get rid of ground loops. It wasn’t that easy to do with auto routing, becasue router didn’t consider it as a problem, so we used only net auto routing. The difference is that now we could select which nets we wanted to be routed. With this approach we could have after routing see if there won’t be any loops. This approach was very time consuming, because loops appeared in the very last nets and they were very difficult to solve. Hopefully in the end we got rid of loops and our final layout looked like shown below:
