Manufacturing and components

Week 10-13:

We were fixing mistakes that we made and that were causing manufacturer sending us back gerber files. One of them was that we didn’t include outline in our layout and because of that manufacturer didn’t know what is a shape of the board. Next one was that some elements had additional footprint on mechanical layer which could cause shortcuts in the circiut. This process was very slow, because we chose manufacturer from China and they answered as in a middle of the night, we fixed mistakes and send them gerber files again, but they could check if files are fine next day, because of time difference. On the pictures below are shown those problems:

In meantime we chose components. We used standard components, but only LF347N was particular, only due to the fact, that some electronics shops didn’t have it in thier offer. Table with components is shown below:
